Canva is a popular online graphic design tool that enables users to create stunning presentations, social media graphics, and other visual content easily.
However, if you want to collaborate with your team or share your work with others, it’s essential to have your presentation in a format that is easily accessible.
Google Slides is a robust cloud-based presentation tool widely used for its collaborative features. Unfortunately, no direct method exists to import Canva presentations into Google Slides.
In this tutorial, we will show you a simple workaround that allows you to effortlessly convert your Canva presentations into Google Slides.
Step 1. To begin with, design your presentation in Canva or open a previously created presentation. For this tutorial, we have used a presentation template available in Canva.
Step 2. Once you complete designing your presentation in Canva, click on the “Share” button at the top right side of your screen. Scroll down a bit, and select the “More” option, as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 3. Now, you see hundreds of options to select and share your design. You need to scroll down till you see a category of share options called “Save“. Select “Microsoft PowerPoint” under the ‘Save’ category.
Step 4. Optionally, you can choose any particular slides in your presentation and click the “Download” option.
Step 5. You will be able to save the Canva presentation as the Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation to your computer by following the steps we discussed now.
Step 6. Now, go to Google Slides and open a blank presentation. Now, click on the “File” option at the top left of your screen, and select “Import slides“.
Step 7. You get a popup screen where you need to select the “Upload” option. Now, upload the Canva presentation you saved to your computer in the previous step in Microsoft PPT format.
Step 8. You will be presented with all the slides in your presentation. Optionally, you can select the slides you wish to import or click on “Select all slides“. Don’t forget to select the “Keep original theme” option to import the slides unmodified. Now click the “Import slides” option to finish importing the slides.
Step 9. You will see all the imported slides on the left side of your Google Slides screen.
Step 10. Select any slide and click on the elements you wish to modify, just like how you edit your slides in Google Slides.
By following these simple steps, you can easily convert your Canva presentation into Google Slides. This workaround allows you to continue using the design tools and features of Canva while benefiting from the collaborative features of Google Slides.
Although this method requires a few extra steps, it is a quick and straightforward process that can save you a lot of time and effort in the long run.
With your Canva presentation now easily accessible on Google Slides, you can collaborate with your team or share your work with others without any issues.
